'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fergie on title run-in (AUDIO)

Consolidation was the key last week for Manchester United. In all competitions recently their form has been terrifying for opposition fans and managers, culminating in last weekend's thumping 4-0 win over Aston Villa.

That means United have now won their last four league games 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 & 4-0 - so could this be a demolition of Middlesbrough? Unlikely at the Riverside, but Fergie's men capped a wonderful week with their first leg win in Rome which should see them through to the Champions League Semi-Final.

But despite the return match in just a few days, Sir Alex Ferguson is paying full attention to the weekend clash against Gareth Southgate's men. Boro have been a thorn in United's side for a few seasons now and never seem to give the Premier League leaders an easy time of it.

There's Fergie's thoughts on the title run-in, the Champions League and rumours of discontent between himself and Owen Hargreaves over the midfielder's alleged lack of time keeping.

A cracking listen as always.
