Fergie Raving About Anderson

Fergie Raving About Anderson

Sir Alex Ferguson said that Anderson had exploded onto the scene. He has followed up that comment with praising the young midfielder to no ends this time.

By praising to no ends I mean that he actually compared him to Paul Scholes, one of the greatest players ever to wear a United shirt. Though it's true that he concentrated on the differences.

'Anderson has exploded on to the scene for us and been absolutely phenomenal,' said Fergie.

'We're really pleased with his progress and the evidence is there for all to see. When Scholes got his last injury it opened the door for Anderson, and we discovered a boy who had talent.

'He isn't entirely like Scholes, although there are similarities. But he's more of an aggressive running player."

He can dribble and tackle better and is faster. His vision is not in the same category yet but that's only down to lack of experience. Once he finds that calmness, that time on the ball that Scholes always seems to have, he will be able to surpass the ginger-haired maestro.
