Gary Will Return, If Lucky

Gary Will Return, If Lucky

We are nearing the first anniversary of Gary Neville's injury that was initially thought to be not so serious. He was tipped to be out for two weeks at that time but hasn't played ever since.

However, once again he's getting closer to a comeback, something we saw numerous times over the last few months, only to be informed that another setback occurred. This time, hopefully it won't happen.

'Gary is training, the same as last week, and we are hoping there are no more setbacks and that he gets a trouble-free run-in,' Fergie told the Daily Telegraph.

'If he does that, then I have no doubts he will come back.'

In that case I do not have doubts either. But I have serious doubts whether he can avoid further setbacks. Evidence is on my side, unfortunately.

Would he even be the same when and if he comes back after almost a YEAR gone?
