Few would dispute Wayne Rooney's man-of-the-match award at Old Trafford in the FA Cup Fifth Round disposal of Arsenal. United dispatched the Gunners with ease and class through goals by Rooney, Nani and a double from the impressive Darren Fletcher.

Not even the watching strict disciplinarian Fabio Capello could fault the 22 year-old's performance in the late kick off, as he applauded his England striker when he was hauled off to a standing ovation with twenty minutes to go.

Speaking after the match, Rooney said despite the low number of Premier League teams left in the competition, he's praying for Chelsea at home in the Quarter-Final.
