Hargreaves Ready For Big Week

Hargreaves Ready For Big Week

Owen Hargreaves believes United can bounce back from the recent disappointing results.

The midfielder was brought on as a substitute during the 2-1 defeat to City at Old Trafford on Sunday but is expected to start against the gooners in the FA Cup on Saturday.

He aims to put in professional performances and acknowledged that the upcoming week might prove crucial in the outcome of our season.

'I don't think there's anyone with their head down,' he said.

'The derby game has gone and we're all professional enough and have been in the game long enough to know there's a next game.

'We've got to take that opportunity to make things better.'

'It's a long season and there are definitely games in a season that are more important than others.

'Next week is one of those weeks - we're in three competitions and it's very important to see what direction we are heading in.

'But this is why our players are at Manchester United - because we expect to win games. And winning games is what we are going to have to do.'

It's time players started doing their talking on the pitch not in the press. Every day we get idiotic articles by one or more utd players. Running scared, or what?

that is right bseymour, they were talking the same way after the spuds game and before the city match, and we all know what happened. i've never been so confident about going to OT since 2002 about our chances of winning, and no matter what team Arsene plays, we'll win this one..

I love your overconfidence, i'm sure it will only be matched by a string of nonsense excuses after the game...
