Giggs: City Deserved It
They did the double over us... that's an unbearable thought. But at least our players, though failed to be winners, managed to be good losers.
'It was probably the result that City deserved really. They played better than us,' Giggs said.
'City scored at important times in the game and we didn't recover. City could just sit back then and try to catch us on the counter attack.
'Defensively we didn't play well. Attacking-wise, we just didn't turn up.'
Yeah, that's a fairly accurate summary I'm afraid. But hopefully next time we'll try Welbeck. Bolton home or Derby away anyone?
